Tamara Neely, is a family nurse practitioner with extensive training as an HIV specialist from Duke University. She completed her 2nd post Masters certificate as a psychiatric mental health Nurse Practitioner at Anderson University in Anderson, SC in May 2019. She graduated from UNCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014.

She has a speciality niche business, HomeCare for the Carolinas LLC (HC4C) which is a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and Minority, Women Small Business Enterprise (MWSBE). HC4C works extensively with the government (HRSA, HUD & VA). Since 2006, HC4C has been a successful business with a team of 20. HC4C provides the following services:

non-medical home care services, HIV Case Management, contract pharmacy, and two VA contracts for transitional group homes for homeless male veterans in the Charlotte metro area with mental heath disorders and/or substance abuse issues.

Tamara is the founder of The RISE Project of the Carolinas, a 501(c) 3 that works with individuals with mental health disorders providing VA transitional housing to male veterans and HIV Case Management with a focus on the minority population and has been helping those since 2008.

The annual World AIDS Day Program (Dec.1) has been a staple program in the community to educate others about HIV and bring awareness and prevention.

Her real estate company, Neely Realty & Investments, is a real estate broker firm in Charlotte, NC with residential and commercial rental properties with eleven doors.

HC4C Clinic opened August 2020 as a mental health clinic to assist those with substance abuse problems and mental health issues. In addition, HC4C Clinic will offer massages and facials and weight loss options in addition to helping those with HIV. Our main focus will be to help those with opioid addictions by prescribing suboxone. Mind, body, and soul will be our focus.

Partners in Integrated HealthCare and Wellness PLLC is an integrated medical model that will allow the patient to be treated for primary care and mental health care in one location will open later in Fall 2020.

The NursePRAYneur Consulting helps individuals or companies wanting to open a business and become “government ready” for contracts in health care and/or housing programs for veterans, adults and/or children.

Currently, she is on a mission to help minority women birth their business in health care and/or real estate. She has shown over 50 women in business how to get their business “government ready” to apply for government contracts and grants. One client has secured a $4 Million Dollar VA contract to house 10 veterans in Houston, TX.

She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is married to Meredith and has a daughter (Makayla) who is a student at NC A& T majoring in Nursing and will continue the legacy of helping our vulnerable community to become more self-sufficient. Tamara’s motto is “work HARD and play HARDER”.

Tamara released her first book, The NursePRAYneur: From Care Plans To Business Plans in February 2018.

She is working on her second book, The NursePRAYneur:From Business Plans to Legacy Planningy. Book launch is scheduled for October 2020 release.
